Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver expert eyewear solutions and outstanding patient care. You will assist patients with frame selection, ensure accurate measurements and proper lens dispensing, and maintain high standards of service and satisfaction.

You will interpret prescriptions, document in the EHR/ALE system, and educate patients on insurance, warranties, and ways to protect their investment in eyewear.

Qualifications

• State Licensure to practice as an Optician.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience essential.
• HIPAA knowledge preferred.
• Proficient PC skills (MS Office, Windows).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly demeanor.
• Manual dexterity and precise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing.
• Explain products, warranties, and insurance coverage to patients.
• Record prescriptions and update the EHR/ALE system.
• Provide timely order status updates and resolve issues.
