Job summary

Warby Parker in Hendersonville, TN is seeking a Licensed Optical Supervisor to join our growing team of in-house optical professionals. You’ll rely on your optical prowess, friendly demeanor, and product expertise to create exceptional customer experiences and to lead the opticians and retail advisors.

As a keyholder, you’ll open and close the store, mentor the Optical team, maintain store systems, and drive sales with outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passion for eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who explains technical terms to customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform optical duties and assist customers with eyewear needs.
• Record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and products to customers.
• Lead and mentor optical team and support store operations.
