Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our team of in-house optical professionals in a dynamic retail environment. You will rely on your optical prowess, product knowledge, and friendly approach to create exceptional customer experiences, while supporting store operations as a keyholder.

The ideal candidate holds an active dispensing optician license (ABO certification where required), with 2+ years of experience and demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

• Must hold a licensed dispensing optician credential in applicable states, with ABO certification where required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs and take/record measurements with accuracy.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Open/close store as a keyholder and maintain store operations.
• Lead and mentor Optical team, including Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain inventory databases and support general store systems.
• Foster a productive and positive team culture.
