Job summary

Warby Parker in Boston Seaport is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our team of in-house optical professionals. As a store leader and license holder, you’ll help open/close the shop, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences with precise eyewear fittings and measurements.

You will explain prescription terminology to customers, drive sales with outstanding service, and maintain inventory and store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states, with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Optical team, including Optician Apprentice Program participants
• Set daily store operations for success and excellence in service
• Drive store vision with above-and-beyond service on the floor
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and business operations
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
