Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license; 2+ years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain prescription terminology to customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to make customers and teammates happy.
• Energetic, positive team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Open-minded and lifelong learner.
• Not on the LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Optical duties: Meet eyewear needs with customers, take/record measurements, adjust eyewear, ensure accuracy.
• Check finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Leadership: set store up for success by executing operational procedures; drive store vision and sales; mentor Optical team; maintain store systems and inventory.
• Foster a productive, positive employee culture.
