Job summary

Warby Parker is looking for an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a keyholder, you’ll open/close the store and manage daily operations while mentoring opticians and retail staff.

You will guide customers through eyewear choices, take precise measurements, and ensure finished pieces meet high standards. Passion for eyewear and service is essential for growth and success.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state license as a dispensing optician or ABO certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for Optical team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to meet eyewear needs and explain options.
• Take and record measurements; adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead store operations, support staff, and mentor apprentices.
• Maintain store systems, inventory, and general operations.
