Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead in-store optical professionals and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will open/close the store as a keyholder and guide the Optical team, including the Apprentice Program participants, to uphold Warby Parker standards.

The role requires a licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and a passion for eyewear in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with required state license or ABO certification in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs and explain prescription terminology.
• Take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure accuracy to standards.
• Lead and mentor Optical team and manage store operations.
• Maintain inventory databases and store systems.
• Foster a positive, productive team environment.
