Job summary

Warby Parker seeks an Optical Supervisor to lead a team of in-house optical professionals and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will open/close the store as a keyholder and mentor staff while maintaining high standards for service and eyewear accuracy.

Ideal candidates are licensed dispensing opticians with 2+ years of supervisor experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for eyewear retail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state dispensing license or ABO certification.
• 2+ years of experience including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, professional communication with customers and teammates.
• Ability to explain prescriptions and product options clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical duties: assist customers, record measurements, adjust eyewear, ensure finished products meet standards.
• Oversee store operations and service quality, drive sales, and serve as main contact for questions.
• Mentor Optical team, including Apprentice program participants, and role-model great service.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and general business operations.
