Job summary

Warby Parker is opening a new store and seeks an Optical Manager to lead our in-house Optical team. You will coach and guide the store's Opticians, consult customers, and ensure exceptional eyewear experiences. A licensed optician with leadership experience is ideal for driving team performance and store standards.

You will foster an encouraging environment, manage recruiting and training, and partner with leadership to deliver outstanding service, while shaping a best-in-class optical program.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician where required.
• 2+ years in a management position.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist customers to meet eyewear needs and explain prescription terminology.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Lead and develop the Optician team and apprentices on the sales floor.
• Collaborate with Store Leader to manage staffing and implement programs.
