Job summary

Warby Parker is opening a new store in Alpharetta, GA and seeks an Optical Manager to lead the in-house Optical team. You will coach the Opticians, consult customers, take measurements, and ensure eyewear meets our high standards while delivering exceptional service.

The ideal candidate holds an optician license (or ABO-certified) with 2+ years in a management role, and demonstrates leadership, clear communication, and a dedication to training and mentorship in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states) with management experience.
• Minimum of 2+ years in a management role leading a team of Opticians.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and adherence to optical standards.
• Professionalism, open-minded decision making, and customer-focused communication.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store's Opticians and consult customers as needed.
• Take and record measurements, adjust eyewear with accuracy, ensure optical standards meet requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Provide feedback, development conversations, and lead by example on the floor.
• Support store systems, inventory databases, and general operations.
