Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead the store's Opticians and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach, mentor, and manage performance while ensuring top optical standards.

You'll use your licensing and leadership skills to drive eyewear sales, oversee fittings, measurements, and product knowledge, and foster a positive, high-energy environment for customers and teammates alike.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician in states with licensing or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years in a management position leading a team of Opticians.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and ability to drive optical metrics.
• Professional, open-minded decision maker with a focus on team wellbeing.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail with clear customer communication.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing fast-paced store operations.
• Not on LEIE list and compliance-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Opticians on the floor, providing feedback and development conversations.
• Maintain exceptional service standards and implement programs to boost loyalty.
• Oversee staffing needs and manage the Optician Apprentice Program.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, store safety, and engagement initiatives.
• Support store systems, inventory databases, and general operations.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
