Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead a team of opticians and retail staff, driving exceptional customer experiences while upholding optical standards. As a keyholder, you will help open/close the store and oversee operations, mentoring the Optical team and ensuring smooth store performance.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain technical terms to customers.
• Dedicated to going above and beyond to make customers and teammates happy.
• Energetic, positive team player able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented, cool under pressure, able to juggle many responsibilities.
• Open-minded and constantly learning.
• Takes work seriously, but not themselves.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General's LEIE list.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Set store up for success by executing operational, service, and staffing procedures.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and general operations.
• Foster a productive, positive employee culture in the store.
