Job summary

Warby Parker Rockefeller is seeking a Licensed Optical Supervisor to lead our in‑house optical team. You will work directly with customers, take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure products meet our high optical standards.

As a keyholder, you’ll open/close, manage store operations, mentor staff including the Optician Apprentice Program, and foster a positive, detail‑driven environment focused on exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Able to explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Excellent communication and team leadership.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).

Responsibilities

• Directly assist customers to meet eyewear needs and take/record measurements.
• Adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets our optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Set up store for daily success by executing operations and staff zoning procedures to Warby Parker standards.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team, including participants of the Optician Apprentice Program, and foster a culture of great service.
