Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-house optical team in New York, combining eyewear expertise with strong leadership to deliver outstanding customer experiences and maintain high standards of service and operations on the sales floor.

You will mentor opticians and retail advisors, open and close as a keyholder, and ensure accurate measurements, eyewear fitting, and adherence to optical requirements.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician with 2+ years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• ABO-certified or licensed optician in states that require licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Optical team and mentor staff including Optician Apprentice Program participants.
• Open/close store as a keyholder and maintain store operations.
• Assist customers with eyewear needs, measurements, fitting, and prescription terminology.
