Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Manager to lead and develop a team of Opticians in our New York store. You will coach staff, ensure precise eyewear measurements, and consult customers on prescriptions and products to inspire confidence in their eyewear choices.

You will collaborate with the Store Leader to plan staffing, implement service programs, and maintain high optical standards while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified in non-licensing states, with management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and on-floor mentorship for Opticians.
• Clear communicator able to translate technical terms for customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Opticians on the floor, delivering exceptional service.
• Take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure optical standards and customer requests are met.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Partner with Store Leader to manage staffing and apprentice program participants.
• Uphold HR policies and foster a productive, safe store culture.
