Job summary

Pumpkin is seeking a Licensed Customer Care Agent to handle insurance and non-insurance inquiries via phone, email, text, chat, and social media. The role includes processing enrollments, claims, and fulfillment tasks, with an EST-based 12:00-8:30pm shift and a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Active P&C license is required. The position is remote in the United States and offers extensive benefits including healthcare, parental leave, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License with NPN number.
• Experience in customer service with high customer interface.
• Experience with ticketing software (Zendesk, Kustomer, Gladly).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with administrative skills.
• Entrepreneurial interest and passion for pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer care across phone, email, text, chat and social media.
• Use problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and maintain positive relationships.
• Ensure claims and policies are compliant and know when to make an exception.
• Answer questions and provide insurance and non-insurance information.
• Educate customers on product offerings and upsell additional coverage.
• Process enrollments, claims, and fulfillment tasks per policy.
• Use ticketing and back office software to manage tasks and track performance.
• Data entry for assigned tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
