Job summary

Pumpkin is seeking a Licensed Customer Care Agent to support insurance and non-insurance inquiries across phone, email, text, chat, and social channels. The role includes processing enrollments and claims, with a shift from 12:00-8:30pm EST, and a remote work setup across the United States.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license and has strong customer service experience, excellent communication, and proficiency with ticketing software. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (P&C) required.
• Prior experience in a customer service role with high customer interaction.
• Experience with ticketing software (Zendesk, Kustomer, Gladly, etc.).
• Roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and can-do attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong administrative and computer skills.
• Attention to detail in every task.
• Entrepreneurial interest and a love for pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer care across multiple channels (phone, email, text, chat, social).
• Resolve customer issues and maintain positive relationships.
• Understand and apply company policies for claims and exceptions.
• Answer questions and provide insurance and non-insurance information.
• Educate customers on full product offerings and upsell where appropriate.
• Process new enrollments, claims, and fulfillment tasks.
• Use ticketing and back-office software to manage tasks and track performance.
• Data entry for assigned tasks.
• Perform other duties as needed.
