Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Access Services department (circulation, reserves, stacks, study rooms) and personnel.
• Manage circulation processes to loan resources to students, faculty, staff, and others and ensure accurate accounting.
• Oversee access to general and reserve collections via the library system.
• Maintain circulating and non-circulating stacks for accessibility.
• Supervise staff and student workers, including hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline.
• Develop policies and procedures for Access Services operations in consultation with library administration.
• Collect and process fines and fees and maintain financial records for the Student Accounts office.
• Report statistics on circulation and activities to the Dean of Library Services.
