Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher required.
• Three years of liability, bodily injury or comparable claim experience.
• Two years of litigation claim experience.
• Active adjuster license, where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and MS Office/enterprise tech.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workload.
• Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims and litigation from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Gather and thoroughly investigate information to determine coverage, evaluate liability exposure, and establish reserves.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, representatives, opposing counsel, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Leverage resolution strategies and coordinate internal and external resources for investigations and evaluations.
• Actively negotiate settlements within authority and issue payments timely and accurately.
• Assist in coordinating with Counsel to support litigation management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of claim activity in claim management systems.
• Identify areas to improve current best practices and offer creative solutions.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and AI tools while maintaining productivity.
