Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Sr Technical Specialist, Specialty Liability, to manage complex injury and property damage claims from first notice through resolution. You will determine coverage, evaluate liability, assess damages, and reserve appropriately while keeping stakeholders informed.

This senior role involves mentoring colleagues, handling significant litigation, and employing advanced negotiation strategies to ensure timely, fair outcomes. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required and active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Four years of bodily injury claim and litigation experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and exercise sound judgement.
• Strong customer service and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a high-complexity caseload from first notice to resolution.
• Investigate coverage, liability, damages and reserves in alignment with policy terms.
• Provide timely communication to customers, counsel, vendors and internal teams.
• Develop advanced resolution strategies and coordinate resources for investigations.
• Partner with Counsel on litigation management and negotiate settlements.
• Maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
