The Travelers Indemnity Company in Morristown, NJ seeks a Senior Technical Specialist, General Liability to manage and investigate complex injury/property damage claims, determine coverage, assess liability, and establish appropriate reserves. You will leverage advanced expertise in claims management and settlement negotiation to ensure timely, fair resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of bodily injury or property damage claim experience.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and Office/enterprise tech.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims through resolution.
• Gather information from relevant parties to determine coverage and liability.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, counsel, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop advanced resolution strategies and coordinate resources for investigations and evaluations.
• Partner with Counsel to develop and execute litigation management strategies.
• Negotiate settlements within delegated authority.
• Maintain accurate claim records in CMS.
• Identify areas to improve current practices and propose solutions.
• Adapt to technology updates and AI tools while maintaining productivity.
• Acquire and maintain state insurance licenses within three months.
• May travel for mediations, trials, and arbitration.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
