Travelers in Morristown, NJ is seeking a Claim Rep, General Liability. You will manage and investigate low to moderate complexity injury and/or property damage claims, determine coverage, evaluate liability, and establish reserves within authority, while delivering professional service to customers, claimants, and attorneys.

This role offers growth through training, collaboration, and exposure to technology, including AI tools, with emphasis on accuracy, empathy, and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Two years of liability, bodily injury, or comparable experience.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims from first notice to resolution.
• Investigate information by contacting relevant parties to determine coverage and liability.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, counsel, and third-party vendors.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and issue payments timely and accurately.
• Maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
• Adapt to new technology implementations and AI tools.
