Job summary

You will mentor less experienced Claim Reps and collaborate with counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years liability or property damage claim experience.
• Two years of litigation claim experience.
• Active adjuster license, where required by state law.
• Experience with claims management systems and MS Office.
• Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage an active caseload of injury and/or property damage claims and litigation within authority.
• Gather and investigate information to determine coverage and liability, and establish reserves.
• Provide timely and professional communication to customers, counsel, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources to conduct claim investigations and evaluations.
• Negotiate settlements within authority and issue payments accurately and timely.
• Assist in coordinating with Counsel to support litigation management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records in claim management systems.
