Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking an on-site iSOC Coordinator to manage real-time security events with Level 3 responsibilities, including live two-way audio interactions at monitored sites and rapid incident resolution.

You will perform remote security checks, verify alarms, escalate emergencies, and document interactions while working a shift that includes evenings and weekends. Training is provided and benefits start Day 1.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism and care.
• Strong active listening skills to understand customer needs and provide timely, accurate responses to requests.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks/ virtual tours of customer locations, carefully observing all areas for potential security vulnerabilities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during business opening, closing and/or upon customer request.
• Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take appropriate action based on severity, including contacting emergency services as needed.
• Answer inbound calls to assist with resolving, escalating, or supporting security inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the automation system.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals and perform video verification of alarms.
• Notify specified individuals via telephone of an alarm or event per customer instructions.
• Provide life safety support by ensuring timely dispatch to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and resetting alarms.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events, using two-way audio to communicate with monitored sites.
• Handle loitering, trespassing, or other security violations with de-escalation and rapid decision-making.
• Document all interactions and generate detailed reports on alarm responses.
