Qualifications

• Experience supervising back-of-house operations
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to coach, evaluate, and discipline staff
• Experience with inventory, waste tracking, and cost controls

Responsibilities

• Supervise production and preparation of food per recipes and procedures
• Ensure compliance with employment policies and restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
• Direct productivity to maintain ticket times and service flow
• Hire, train, and develop back-of-house staff
• Conduct line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
• Manage food costs, waste, and kitchen labor costs
• Schedule back-of-house tasks and assign duties
• Oversee equipment maintenance, cleaning procedures, and proper storage
