Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food to established recipes and procedures.

You will supervise production and staff performance, enforce employment policies, manage food costs and labor, conduct line checks, train employees, and schedule the team to ensure safe, high‑quality, timely service in a busy restaurant.

Qualifications

• Kitchen management experience in a restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop Back of House staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production and preparation of food in line with established recipes and procedures.
• Enforce employment policies and maintain restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Direct productivity to maintain efficient ticket times and throughput.
• Manage Back of House staff performance, including evaluations, coaching and discipline.
• Assist with developing key employees and schedule staff across shifts.
• Conduct Taste & Temp checks and oversee inventory, storage, and safety practices.
• Monitor food costs, waste, and labor to optimize costs.
