Job summary

RR Donnelley is hiring a Legal Document Specialist to support time-sensitive word processing and formatting of legal documents in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires strong MS Word skills and high accuracy across complex files.

You will collaborate with a team across shifts, with a hybrid schedule after a 90‑day probation (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). Training runs 6 weeks; shift is Sun–Thu, 8am–4pm, pay $23.08/hour plus $2 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree with 3+ years legal word processing experience preferred.
• Advanced MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Experience with TOAs/TOCs, redlines, and complex formatting in legal documents.
• Transcription experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and citations preferred.
• Typing speed 60 wpm with 95% accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and format legal documents to firm specifications.
• Convert and format documents across file types and formats.
• Create charts, tables, and figures as requested.
• Edit Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents.
• Data entry and transcription of dictation files.
• Restore/correct corrupted documents and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide help desk support for application queries.
• Meet deadlines with accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle confidential information per policy.
• Follow established policies; perform additional duties as needed.
