Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Word Processing professional to support time-sensitive project requests across shifts. You will create, edit, and format legal documents per firm specifications, convert formats, and prepare Tables of Authorities/TOCs.

Strong MS Word and Office skills, 60 wpm minimum, and confidentiality are essential. The role offers hybrid or onsite work after a 90-day probation with training Mon–Fri 9–5.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with TOAs/TOCs, inserting automated cross-references, converting PDFs to Word, applying Word styles with macros, troubleshooting problem documents with redlines and complex numbering.
• Transcription experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and legal citations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit and format legal documents to firm specifications using various software applications
• Convert, clean and format documents to/from different file formats
• Create charts, graphs, tables, and spreadsheets as requested
• Create and/or edit Tables of Authorities and Table of Contents
• Perform data entry utilizing various software applications
• Transcribe analog or digital dictation files
• Restore/recover corrupted document files as necessary
• Provide telephone help desk support to troubleshoot application queries
• Complete all assigned jobs by the deadline in an accurate and timely manner
• Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information
• Follow established policies and procedures at all times
• Perform additional duties as necessary or assigned
• Other duties as assigned
