Qualifications

• Two to five years of legal billing experience; Elite experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic billing using various vendor websites and the Ehub.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in responding timely to general billing inquiries directed by management, staff, attorneys and clients.
• Review aged unbilled WIP and provide status updates to Billing Supervisor/Director of Billing.
• Provide expense detailed back-up to accompany invoices as required.
• Research and address client overpayments and cost advances as needed to adjust invoices or process refunds.
• Process invoices utilizing Paperless Proforma for specific attorneys.
• Review newly opened matters for clients of assigned attorneys for e-billing availability.
• Ensure that invoices are submitted in a timely fashion and that all reductions or rejections are addressed promptly.
• Submit Rate Requests for certain vendor sites.
• Provide updates regarding invoice status to Billing Supervisor/Director of Billing.
