Job summary

Fox Rothschild LLP seeks a Billing Specialist to support the Finance Department by ensuring accurate and timely billing in line with firm and client guidelines.

The role involves handling inbound inquiries, reviewing WIP, providing expense detail, researching overpayments, and processing invoices with Paperless Proforma. A HS diploma is required, a Bachelor's is preferred, and 2–5 years of legal billing experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of legal billing experience.
• Experience with electronic billing using vendor websites and the Ehub.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in responding to general billing inquiries from management, staff, attorneys and clients.
• Review aged unbilled WIP and provide status updates to Billing Supervisor/Director.
• Provide expense detailed back-up to accompany invoices as required.
• Research client overpayments and cost advances to determine invoices or refunds as needed.
• Process invoices using Paperless Proforma for designated attorneys.
• Review newly opened matters for clients of assigned attorneys for e-billing availability.
• Ensure invoices are submitted timely and address reductions or rejections promptly.
• Submit rate requests for certain vendor sites.
• Provide invoice status updates to Billing Supervisor/Director.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
