Job summary

ResProp Management in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Leasing Leader to help launch a new apartment community. You will lead leasing consultants, drive occupancy, and ensure a standout resident experience from day one.

Responsibilities include leasing from tour to move-in, maintaining ledgers, handling notices and evictions, supporting month-end accounting, planning resident events, and building relationships with residents and owners.

Qualifications

• At least one year of leasing experience in residential property management
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
• Cheerful attitude and focus on customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Tech savvy - able to learn/work with property management applications
• Strength in Sales / Leasing / Closing / Delinquency Management / Renewal Management

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing consultants by applying sales strategies to reach occupancy goals
• Maintain resident ledgers including posting rent payments and charges
• Initiate lease violations, late notices, and evictions as needed
• Assist Property Manager with Month End accounting
• Assist with leasing process from tour to move-in and close the sale
• Understand property features and match them to resident needs
• Support occupancy/retention goals with follow-ups
• Build relationships with residents through timely responses
• Plan and organize resident events with teammates
• Train and develop teammates and provide on-the-job training
• Inspect property areas daily for cleanliness and upkeep
• Manage in-house bad debt collections
• Assist in managing client/owner relationships and respond to owner requests
• Process resident move-outs in accordance with procedures and legal requirements
