Job summary

ResProp Management in Austin, TX is seeking a Leasing Consultant to lead the leasing process from tour to move-in, maintain resident ledgers, and support occupancy and retention goals.

You will train teammates, inspect properties, handle resident inquiries, and collaborate with owners. Requires at least one year in residential property management, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset.

Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of leasing experience in residential property management.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Cheerful attitude and focused on customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech savvy—able to learn/work with property management applications.
• Strength in Sales / Leasing / Closing / Delinquency Management / Renewal Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the leasing consultants by applying creative sales strategies to meet occupancy goals.
• Maintain resident ledgers, post rent payments, and issue charges and statements.
• Initiate lease violations, late rent notices, and evictions as needed.
• Assist Property Manager with Month End accounting tasks.
• Guide the leasing process from tour to move-in, including lease documents and inspections.
• Highlight property features to match resident needs and improve satisfaction.
• Support occupancy and retention by following up with prospects and residents.
• Build relationships with residents through timely responses and service improvements.
• Plan and organize resident events with the team.
• Train teammates and provide on-the-job coaching.
