Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and renewals. You will interact with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and retention, while handling lease documentation and tours.

Ideal candidates have a background in sales and customer service, with strong interpersonal skills and familiarity with Yardi Voyager or similar systems. Proficiency in MS Office is a plus and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum of one year of previous sales experience is preferred.
• One year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals.
• Interact with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and retention.
• Qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation and complete move-in paperwork.
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition and orient residents to the property.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic activity and follow up with prospects via phone, mail or email.
• Complete weekly leasing reports and ensure all open/close procedures are performed daily.
