Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals. You will engage with prospective and current residents to maximize occupancy and retention, while maintaining accurate records and generating tour traffic.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, Yardi Voyager experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum one year of sales experience preferred.
• One year of residential leasing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals.
• Interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and retention.
• Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospects, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork.
• Ensure model apartments are in touring condition.
• Orient prospective and current residents to the property and handle renewal paperwork monthly.
• Maintain detailed records of traffic activity in the computer system.
• Follow up with prospects via phone, mail or email and convert traffic into tours.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-ins and coordinate move-in/out with maintenance.
