Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, retention, and occupancy while delivering exceptional customer service across the community.

You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, process applications, and support renewals, with emphasis on Fair Housing compliance and teamwork. English proficiency required; Spanish a plus. We offer competitive compensation, health benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits in reports; file guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; notify Community Manager of service needs.
• Have prospects complete applications and secure deposits per procedures.
• Update availability reports and process applications (credit checks, rental history).
• Submit processed applications to Community Manager for approval.
• Assist in monitoring renewals; distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market information.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to Assistant Community Manager.
• Type leases and input information in Yardi; review with Community Manager before signatures.
• Assist management with other tasks and uphold community policies.
