Job summary

Valiant Residential in Frisco, TX is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, retention, and occupancy for the community with a focus on exceptional customer service. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, process applications, and maintain records in the Yardi system, while representing the company professionally and supporting the management team.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Two years of experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering criteria (ask questions, use guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Update availability and process applications (credit check, rental history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and follow up on renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market data.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and route to the Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease information into Yardi and review with Community Manager.
• Assist the management team with other tasks and enforce community policies.
