Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant who is responsible for duties related to leasing, retention, and occupancy for the community while promoting resident satisfaction. Create a lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents through a customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Operate Microsoft Office and community software; knowledge of Yardi preferred.
• Two years of experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units and relay service needs.
• Process applications, credit checks, and renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather market information.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and forward to the appropriate manager.
• Input information into the Yardi System accurately.
