Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to drive leasing, retention, and occupancy while delivering exceptional resident service. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, and record visits in reports, ensuring accurate leasing documentation and compliance with Fair Housing.

You'll collaborate with the Community Manager, process applications, monitor renewals, and represent the company professionally.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish helpful.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria (questions, guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits on reports and manage guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; report needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications, credit checks, and lease approvals.
• Monitor renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and gather competitive info.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Process and forward rental payments as needed.
• Input lease data into Yardi and review with Community Manager.
• Assist management with additional tasks and enforce community policies.
