Valiant Residential seeks a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, retention, and occupancy with a customer-focused approach. The role emphasizes greeting prospects, preparing move-in packages, and ensuring accurate records for applications.

Ideal candidates have strong English communication, customer service experience, and familiarity with Yardi and MS Office. A proactive, team-oriented attitude and flexibility for evenings/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Two years of customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Proficient with MS Office and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; communicate service needs.
• Process applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing.
• Update availability and process approvals (credit check, rental history).
• Assist in renewals; distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and market competition data.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Receive rental payments and route to the appropriate manager.
• Prepare lease documents and input data into the Yardi system.
• Assist management with additional tasks and enforce community policies.
