Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage leasing, retention, and occupancy for the community while delivering exceptional customer service. Help convert prospects to residents, prepare move-in packages, and record visits with accuracy.

The role requires strong communication in English, with bilingual Spanish a plus, and familiarity with Fair Housing guidelines and property software. A flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Proficient with MS Office and community software.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions, utilize guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports; manage guest cards per procedures.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; notify Community Manager of needs.
• Process applications, credit checks, rental history, and deposits.
• Monitor renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Gather market data and monitor advertising effectiveness.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Take rental payments and forward to the Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease data into the Yardi System accurately for signatures.
• Assist management with additional tasks as needed.
• Enforce community policies consistently.
