Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to handle leasing, retention, and occupancy while promoting resident satisfaction. You will greet prospects, prepare move-in packages, and process applications with a strong focus on customer service.

The role requires strong English communication, a willingness to obtain Fair Housing certification, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Proficiency with Yardi and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Operate Yardi System and MS Office including Word and MS Outlook.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Two years experience in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record all visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Assist with applications and deposits per procedures and Fair Housing rules.
• Update availability reports and process applications for approval.
• Monitor renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
