Valiant Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant to handle leasing, retention, and occupancy for the community with a strong customer service focus. You will create a lasting impression on visitors, prospects, and residents by delivering exceptional service and accurate lease processing.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with the public and/or sales.
• Excellent English communication; Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification, or willingness to obtain before interacting with prospective residents.
• Demonstrate ability to support and contribute to the community team.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Operate computer/keyboard and community software (Yardi).
• Positive attitude and ability to smile under all circumstances.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Two years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria (ask questions, use guest cards).
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits on reports and maintain guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to the Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Update availability reports; process applications for approval (credit checks, history).
• Assist in monitoring renewals and send renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and report market competition.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Process rent payments and input lease data into Yardi.
• Assist management with other tasks as required.
• Enforce community policies consistently.
