Job summary

Greystar in Phoenix is seeking a Leasing Professional to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to boost occupancy, revenue, and resident retention. Build strong relationships with prospects and residents, manage the leasing process from tours to move-ins, and execute targeted marketing plans to drive traffic to the community.

You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, screen credit and background checks, prepare lease packages, and ensure a smooth move-in

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing and marketing rental housing.
• Ability to handle applications, credit checks, and move-in processes.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities to achieve occupancy goals: greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, screen credit and background checks, prepare lease/move-in packages, and facilitate lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate any required maintenance to ensure move-in readiness.
• Monitor market conditions, develop short- and long-term marketing plans, and implement programs to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic: referrals, employer outreach, online marketing via Craigslist, social media, and email campaigns.
• Utilize site software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic, leasing activities, and resident data.
• Ensure show units meet company standards; communicate upkeep needs to maintenance and maintain attractive marketing spaces.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to secure leases and renewals; send thank-you notes and make calls as needed.
• Support lease renewal programs with letters and packages; contact renewing residents ahead of move-out dates; ensure timely signing.
