Job summary

ResProp Management in Fort Myers seeks a Leasing Consultant to drive occupancy through effective sales strategies and exceptional resident service. You will personally handle tours, lease processing, and move-in coordination to ensure a smooth, positive experience for new residents.

The role requires a year of leasing experience in residential property management, strong communication skills, and a tech-savvy approach to property management software.

Qualifications

• At least one year of leasing experience in residential property management.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Cheerful attitude and focus on customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Tech savvy—able to learn/work with property management applications.
• Strength in Sales/Leasing/Closing/Delinquency Management/Renewal Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing team to apply creative sales strategies and achieve occupancy goals.
• Maintain resident ledgers, post rent, issue charges, and manage final accounts.
• Initiate lease violations, late notices, and evictions as needed.
• Assist Property Manager with accounting month-end tasks.
• Support leasing from tour to move-in, including closing the sale and preparing leases.
• Highlight property features to meet resident needs and promote retention.
• Respond to resident inquiries promptly to resolve issues and improve satisfaction.
• Coordinate resident events and training for team members.
