ResProp Management seeks an experienced Leasing Specialist in Fort Myers, FL to lead the leasing team through creative sales strategies and drive occupancy goals. You will manage rent postings, charges, and move-in processes while ensuring an excellent resident experience.

The role requires at least 1 year of residential leasing experience, strong communication skills, and a tech-savvy mindset. Weekend availability and a customer-service orientation are essential, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leasing experience in residential property management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead leasing consultants through creative sales strategies to hit occupancy goals
• Maintain resident ledgers: post rents, issue charges, concessions, and final statements
• Initiate lease violations, late notices, and evictions as needed
• Assist Property Manager with accounting month-end tasks
• Guide leasing process from tour to move-in; finalize lease docs and inspect units
• Highlight property features to prospective residents and connect them to needs
• Support occupancy and retention through timely follow-ups with prospects and residents
• Build relationships with residents via courteous, responsive service
• Address complaints, questions, and requests promptly to boost satisfaction
• Plan and organize resident events with teammates
• Train and develop teammates; provide on-the-job training
• Inspect property areas daily for cleanliness and curb appeal
• Manage in-house bad debt collections
• Assist in owner relations with tours, updates, and responses
• Process move-outs per lease terms and deposits/fees as applicable
