Job summary

Cardinal is seeking a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) to deliver high quality customer service to residents and help achieve 100% occupancy through leasing current availability and pre-leasing future units.

The role includes front desk duties, training, and collaboration with staff. Candidates should be enrolled in a degree program, maintain a 2.5 GPA, live on-site, have a valid driver's license, and be available ~20 hours per week including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program with minimum credits.
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher, annual verification.
• Must be a current or prospective leaseholder for the community.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and deliver high quality service.
• Handle administrative front desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training.
• Greet clients, answer calls, present the community and homes, and close sales.
• Process lease applications and lease file paperwork.
• Maintain accurate lease documentation and assist with audits.
• Keep the tour path clean for a positive first impression.
• Exhibit a positive, professional attitude with residents and vendors.
• Assist with community events and other projects as needed.
• On-call responsibilities and evening/weekend work.
