Job summary

Cardinal is seeking a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) to deliver top‑tier customer service and support to residents. You will participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training and aim for 100% occupancy through retention and pre-leasing of future availability.

Tasks include front desk duties, presenting community features, handling lease applications, and ensuring accurate documentation. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must deliver high quality customer service.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and be a current or future leaseholder.
• Must live on designated community floor per guidelines.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service at the front desk.
• Perform Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training.
• Present the community and apartment homes professionally; close sales and follow up.
