Job summary

Cardinal Group is seeking a Leasing Community Intern (Temporary, Non-Exempt) in New York to deliver high-quality customer service and support our residents. You will collaborate with the team to maintain high occupancy, lease current availability, and pre-lease future spaces while adhering to Cardinal Way of Leasing standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in a degree program with at least 6 credits.
• Must have completed at least one year of college.
• Must maintain a 2.5 GPA and be a current or future leaseholder.

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for customer service and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Perform Administrative Front Desk tasks and duties.
• Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training as required.
• Warmly greet prospective clients and present the community and apartments.
• Process lease applications and maintain lease file paperwork.
• Pass third party leasing shops and become Cardinal Way of Leasing certified.
• Maintain lease file documentation and participate in audits as needed.
• Keep the tour path clean to create a positive first impression.
• Work evenings and weekends; be on-call as needed.
