Job summary

Avenue5 Residential, based in Florida, is seeking a Leasing Consultant to coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals while delivering exceptional service to prospective and current residents to drive occupancy.

The role requires empathy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred experience with Yardi Voyager and MS Office; a high school diploma and leasing experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of one year of previous sales experience preferred.
• One year of residential leasing experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and converse in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs and lease renewals.
• Interact with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and retention.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
• Promote a quality living experience and respond to requests promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of traffic and leasing activity.
• Create and maintain confidential resident files and move‑in paperwork.
• Prepare weekly leasing reports and ensure daily open/close procedures.
• Support management with clerical tasks and property invoices as needed.
• Assist with planning resident activities to boost retention.
