Job summary

Valiant Residential seeks a Leasing Consultant to handle leasing, retention, and occupancy for the community while delivering superior customer service. The role focuses on first impressions for visitors, prospects, and residents, with emphasis on resident satisfaction and exemplary engagement.

Responsibilities include processing applications, preparing move-in packages, and maintaining accurate records in Yardi, while supporting renewals and advertising efforts within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the public or in sales.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to support the community team and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with telephone, computer, and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify based on criteria.
• Prepare move-in packages and lease paperwork.
• Record visits and maintain guest cards; file per procedures.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Process applications and deposits in accordance with procedures.
• Update availability reports and manage application approvals.
• Assist in renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness and file market information.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Accept rental payments and remit to Assistant Community Manager.
• Input lease data into Yardi; review with Community Manager for signatures.
• Assist management with additional tasks and uphold community policies.
